Our Story of Connection
TechEase was born from a simple observation: our grandparents were being left behind in the digital age. We set out to change that, one device at a time.

From a Simple Idea to a Growing Movement
What started as helping grandparents make video calls has grown into a full-fledged organization serving hundreds of seniors across South Florida.
Our student volunteers don't just teach technology—they build relationships, share stories, and bring joy to seniors who often feel isolated in an increasingly digital world.
Today, TechEase is expanding beyond Florida, with a mission to bring digital literacy and safety to seniors nationwide.
The Stories Behind TechEase
Rayan Kha
Co-Founder
"My grandparents live in India, so I don't get to see them often. For years, I've watched them struggle to stay in touch with the rest of their family and me. With technology advancing faster than they could keep up, they were getting left behind."
"One summer during a visit to India, I offered a solution by helping them set up their video call platforms on their phone. This way, they could stay in touch with me, even if I was 9,000 miles away."
"This made me wonder how many people are out there with the same problem: living in senior homes disconnected from their family. I went on a mission to change this."
Enan Khan
Co-Founder
"I kept hearing the same questions: 'How do I use FaceTime?', 'What does this app do?', 'How do I clean my email?', 'Can I recover deleted photos?', 'How do I set up this printer?'"
"We realized seniors wanted not just quick fixes, but trustworthy guidance and one-on-one mentorship to stay connected and safe online. After many conversations, one resident, Renee, encouraged us to turn those informal help sessions into a real project."
"We took her advice to heart, and TechEase grew from one community to many. Thank you, Renee, for believing in TechEase."
