TechEase empowers older adults to use technology with confidence and stay safe online. We provide patient, hands-on support, clear education, and practical tools that strengthen digital independence, protect privacy, and keep seniors connected to what—and who—matters most.
TechEase began in August 2023, when we spent a few weeks volunteering at a local retirement community and kept hearing the same questions: “How do I use FaceTime?”, “What does this app do?”, “How do I clean my email?”, “Can I recover deleted photos?”, “How do I set up this printer?” We realized seniors wanted not just quick fixes, but trustworthy guidance and one-on-one mentorship to stay connected and safe online. After many conversations, one resident, Renee, encouraged us to turn those informal help sessions into a real project. We took her advice to heart and TechEase grew from one community to many, offering friendly support and digital safety tips for older adults. Renee passed away two months after we started; we dedicate this work to her for sparking the idea and cheering us on from day one. Thank you, Renee, for believing in TechEase.
